What a different motorcycle. I do not know the history or story behind this bike. I would guess that it was a 1990's build just from the age on tires and parts. I know the last 8+ years it has just been parked by the person I purchased it from. He didn't know much history on it either. I brought it home put a new battery in it and gas, checked it over and pressed the electric start button, it fired right up and ran good. I have put maybe 10 miles on it. Whoever parked it did a good job of preparing it for a long nap. Speedometer works, tachometer does not. I have not checked cable, might be all it is. Front tire needs replace due to cracks from age. Bike could use a good cleaning and detailing. Flat black on engine and pipes could us freshed up also. I just recently took this to a car cruise in and it was surrounded by cameras clicking and "wow check this out" most of the day. The photos do not do the bike right. MUCH better looking in person. This bike has REAL 1957 Chevy parts. Headlight housing and bezel are 57 parts. That back "fin" is metal NOT glass, someone was one hell of an artist and body man. Original 1957 taillight looks super on the back. The Bel Air on the gas tank is gold leaf. You see a hole on each side of the gas tank, this goes all the way through from one side to the other. I was told it used to have an arrow, you know, like bow and arrow. The arrow stuck all the way through the tank for added looks. Like I said, bike needs a good detail, rims need cleaned and polished, some of the chrome has some minor pitting. Paint is very nice yet with just a few little chips or minor scratches from age. This would be SUPER on a little trailer behind someones 1957 Chevy. You could paint it to match your car or leave it as is. Bike starts right up, runs great, sound great.
