Item re-listed due to previous buyer located in another country and was not able to meet payment terms. 1969 mustang convertible bought it in 1994 car has not run since 2004, has been sitting in garage. Engine turns over.What the car needs:*new radiator*master cylinder (brakes)*exhaust leak*gas tank*front end parts Car will need to be towed. buyer is responsible for pickup and transportation. Body of car is in good condition, interior is in very good condition, some surface rust on body of car, title is clear. good restoration project. To alleviate some of the e-mails below or some of the answered questions from the previous auction: Q: does car need any metal work underneath, torque boxes,floors,frame?? also does the power top work, thanks A: The car will need frame work and floor pans convertible top works fine Q: has the car rust ? Do you know if it has had an accident ever ? A: I don't know if the car was in an accident,it does have rust in rt rear 1/4 a spot in the trunk, and floor pans and 1 frame rail Q: Any rust issues? Floors, quarters, other typical mustang rust areas? Looking for a solid restorable car. Just really car about body. Eng etc is not an issue A: Floor pans should be replaced, there is surface rust on the car, some of the paint is bubbling Q: is there any rust on the car ? was the car in an accident ever ? Why are these bars welded in in the engine compartment ? A: I don't know if the car has been hit there is some bondo in the rt. rear 1/4 . Not sure if it was rust or accident . From what I can see floor pans and frame rails should be replaced to restore car correctly. Q: how much rust on the floor pans, frame rails and inner rocker panel thanks dave A: Floor pans - Good, Frame Rails - Should be replaced, Inner Rockers - fair, Driver side front frame rail has rust hole.
