This 1998 Ford Ranger Pickup is offered as is, with no warranty expressed or implied. This is a 4x2 model with a 112” wheelbase. It is equipped with a 2.5 Liter 4 cyl engine with an O/D automatic transmission. This truck is not equipped with A/C. Engine runs okay, but the check engine light is on. The transmission shift okay. Needs new battery. Seat & floor mats ripped. Needs new wiper blades. The body is in fair shape with a few scrapes and dings. Head liner is ripped. Tires are in decent shape. Right rear tail light lens cracked. Interior light does not work. Strobe light on roof does not work. Windshield washer bottle cap is missing. Tranny fluid is a little burnt. Rear tail gate strap is broken. Front brake pads getting low. Needs front end work. (tie rod ends have play & ball joints bad ) Drivers side door hinges are bad & air comes in while driving. This vehicle is owned by a municipality and email inquiries can only be answered during the normal business hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm (eastern time), Monday through Friday. The successful bidder must pick the vehicle up at our location in Oakdale, Long Island, New York and a certified bank check (bank must have branches in New York State) or U.S. Post Office money orders are the only forms of payment accepted. Full payment is expected within 7 days of the auctions close. A copy of the buyer’s driver’s license is required to complete the transaction.
