This auction is for a very nice original 1976 Corvette Coupe. It is equipped with the numbers matching L48 350 V8 engine, Turbo Hydramatic Automatic Transmission, Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, AM/FM Stereo Factory Radio, Tilt Wheel, Rare Rear Defogger, Factory Rally Wheels and Leather Interior. This car has the original window sticker to document all these options. This car has been garage kept and it shows it. The interior is in excellent condition especially for a 38 year old auto. The air conditioning still blows cold but I noticed a squeal last week when it is running. I am not sure if it was a loose belt or the compressor making the noise. The car still has the new car smell. No smoke or pet odor. It does not have a 6 disc CD player cut into the dash, Flared fenders, messed up altered suspension, Speakers cut into any panels, headers and a 600 horsepower engine. If you are looking for that this is not your car. If you are looking for an extremely original 1976 Corvette that has not had a color change or any alteration this may be the car for you. This car is dark green (the rarest color for a Corvette in 1976) with a green leather interior. The paint is almost all original I believe. I know there were spots touched up to cover rock chips and some areas seem to have been sprayed as well. The front bumper is the original factory flexible bumper with minor stress cracks in the paint on the peak and touch up dabs. The rear bumper has been replaced due to drying out and crumbling. It now has the hard replacement installed and painted correctly. The car has not been restored. I see no accident damage whatsoever.
