Vehicle Detail

You are looking at the bike that was built by New Orleans Harley Davidson for the home coming 2006 season to welcome the New Orleans Saints back to the newly renovated Mercedes Benz super dome after hurricane Katrina wrecked the superdome and our city. This bike was used during all of the home games to lead the players onto the field. After the season was over, the bike was sold for $47,500.00 to William Copeland and displayed not ridden but a few times to events where it was roped off and untouched. It was always kept in a climate controlled environment and is in mint condition. This is definitely a collector’s piece for the New Orleans saint's fan motorcycle enthusiast. I discovered the bike for sale at Mike Bruno's Harley Davidson in Slidell Louisiana, I couldn't resist wanting a test ride. After waiting 2 1/2 hours for the manager to clear my test ride and only with him riding with me on his own bike we took off and rode it down the interstate and back to the dealership. Due to the value of the bike and significance of it they didn't allow test rides but seeing I had already bought 8 bikes from them in the past and was very serious about acquiring it they allowed me to do so but only because I wanted to make sure it was a rider and that there were no issues with the bike that needed addressing especially considering the value of the bike. After I traded in a bike of mine that was worth well over 50k I still had to give them another $5000.00 to close the deal. I rode the bike home from the dealership and parked it inside my home in front of the fireplace for decoration and would crank it up after the saints scored a touchdown! After the 2012 season I worked out a deal to ride it over to New Orleans and have Drew Brees sign the gas tank to increase the value. I wish I had access to a trailer to prevent putting any more mileage on the bike but on such short notice I had to ride it to get the signature or miss out on the opportunity. After getting my taxes back from my accountant this year and seeing what I owed for the 2013 tax season on top of what I have been paying monthly for 2 past years there was the only option I had to get the IRS paid off. So with a very heavy heart and saddened, here it is to be sold to someone that will give it a good home and appreciate it as much as I have during my time I’ve owned it. It has too many options on it to list but to name a few, custom intake, custom bars, custom wheels and of course custom New Orleans Saints paint scheme and pipes. It even has gold lighting system on it!! If there are any questions please feel free to ask or other pictures you need I will get them. I do have an email that has a certificate of authenticity but was unable to get the original that William Copeland got when he bought the bike. I have it and pictures of the bike in the superdome when they were using it leading the players onto the field. It sure was cool to meet Drew and him seeing the bike that led him onto the field. He was as excited as I was getting to see it again. The price I am asking for it is a very fair price considering it has now been autographed by Drew. Drew said this was the 1st bike he had ever signed and promised me there wouldn't be another so this is your chance to own a one of a kind night train and a piece of history. Good luck to the person that gets it as it will only go up in value. Who dat!!!!! Geaux saints!!! I just wanted to add that 10% of the selling price of this bike will go to my church for the overwhelming support of my pastor and members that helped me get custody of my boy girl twins that were 18 months old at the time. This isn't much considering my children are 5 and a half now and safe with me. I guess what I am trying to say is if you're going through dark and hopeless times with something, don't give up. God will see you through. Never give up faith and if you go to the lord with a sincere heart and pray, he will see you through these times and to brighter days ahead. Thank you for stopping by to check out my auction and may god bless you and yours. Have a great week. Thanks, Kevin Flowers
