Up for auction is a 1967 Jeep CJ5. It has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. It drives nice and with 4.27:1 gears in the axles it's very usable on the roads of today. Some of the specifics: 1967 CJ5 New Steel Tub and Torch Red paint all around. The paint job is nicer than would have come from the factory, but not a "show" paint job. The body is mounted on all new body mounts as well. The top is a BestTop. Has nice clear windows and is in excellent condition over all. All zippers work great. The interior has lots of new parts. See photos. The following are all new: -Seats -Roll bar -Speedometer and cable -Voltage gauge -Wipers and wiper motors -Stereo (needs speakers and speakers installed) The entire Jeep has been re-wired with updated wiring, fuse block and relays. The rear lights and turn signals are LED. These are BRIGHT and work great. 134 F 4 Cylinder. With new Solex Carburetor. This has been completely serviced with new points, condenser, wires, plugs, fuel filter, valves adjusted etc. As you can see in the photos this is a clean little engine. The exhaust new (stock style) and exits out the rear. The clutch is new and the flywheel re-surfaced. The T90 has been rebuilt with all new bearings, seals as well as a new 1st and 2nd gears. The T18 transfer case was re-sealed and works great. The emergency break is also all new, shoes/drum/hardware. The Dana 25 front is completely gone through, re-sealed, new bearings where needed, new brakes including drums and brake cylinders. New Rugged Ridge lock-outs (hubs) have also been installed. This has 4.27:1 gears. The steering is all new/rebuilt including the Ross steering box, tie-rod ends, and ball joints. The Dana 44 rear is completely gone through, re-sealed, new bearings where needed, new brakes including drums and brake cylinders. This has a Dana Trac-Lok (limited slip) installed and 4.27:1 gears. Drive shafts are all new as well. The jeep is supported by all new leaf springs and shackles. The front has had a shackle reversal done to help handling/ride and works well. It sits about 3" higher than stock. The frame has been reinforced in the spring mount locations as these areas are known to crack on this era of Jeeps. All 4 shocks are new Rancho's. The tires are BFGoodrich Mud Terrain TA's 255/85/R16's on Chrome Spoke Wheels. These fit the Jeep well in look and function. Just like everything else these are new as well. The fuel system on the Jeep has been gone through as well. It has a new tank and sender. The mechanical pump has been replaced with an electric pump. As you can see the Jeep is basically brand new and is ready to go. Everything works! Add a few speakers and you're ready for the road. If you have any questions please ask.
