This bike starts right up, idles perfectly and runs strong. It was dumped once by my son who low sided on a turn at about 30 mph, slide the bike and wedged it under a guard rail. We replaced the stator cover and the main body fairing, which were damaged. Also the aluminum frame tab where the headers attach near the muffler was broken. This not important as many of the after market exhaust systems do not use the part at all. We have been ridding the bike for a few thousand miles and it is not an issue. The fairing is a black one from a GSXR 600 in excellent condition; not the original red one that came with the GSXR 1000. It actually looks pretty good on the bike. The valves clearances were adjusted and oil/filters were changed at 26K mi. The rear tire and sprockets/chain are new. We used this bike for sport touring all over Colorado, Utah and California and has never been raced. It still runs as strong as the one I have with 11K miles on it. It easily gets up about 150mph with plenty more to go and gets about 45mpg on road trips. This bike still has lots of life in it. The bike comes with a Ventura rack and on large Ventura bag if you want it. Otherwise I can take it off. I have added a picture of the crash so you get an idea of what happened to the bike. I reviewed the DMV laws in California regarding transferring titles from out of state and it appears to be identical to cars except there is no smog check. If this is a problem it is okay with me withdraw any bids.
