This car is a 1961 Ford Ranchero that I am currently using as a daily driver. I have driven this car everywhere, to the mountains, the coast, you name it. It is a one of a kind with a custom paint job that speaks for itself. I have put my heart and soul into this car to make it something exceptional. I wouldn't be afraid to drive this car anywhere! I built this car as a classic everyday driver with the reliability of a new car. It has a new 2 tone paint job that is base coat and clear coat, with plenty of clear to be cut and buffed to perfection! The Engine and Transmission are a 200 inline from a 69 Mustang and C4 Automatic that were rebuilt about 5 years ago and work perfectly; no knocks, pings, slipping or anything else. Starts and runs every time! The Engine has a new water pump. fuel pump, carburetor, rebuilt head, points, condenser, wires, plugs, belts hoses, everything has been replaced! It has a new 3 row radiator with overflow tank and new heater core. The inside is spectacular with matching paint and door jambs with new carpet and headliner. The seat is original, but looks great; nice and firm just like it was from the factory. The kicker panels are new with new speakers and a newer Panasonic Radio. The heater ducting is new, new glove box liner, new knobs and switches. The original fuel gauge works with its new fuel sending unit and and the original speedometer works great! It has a new set of mini Sunpro gauges for the temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The shifter has been relocated to the floor using a new Hurst Promatic shifter with new cable making it all happen in the C4! The steering is tight with a rebuilt cross bar and stabilizer bar. The underside is undercoated with no rust anywhere in the truck. The exhaust was done at a local shop with a glasspack and 2.5" all the way out. All new weatherstripping, windlace, rubbers and felts. I have seen 60-63 Rancheros sell here on Ebay for $10,000 dollars or more and this car is just as clean as some of those, if not better. I have over $10,000 invested in this car, so bid with confidence! Paint alone was over $2,000! This is a lot to read, but I have bought and sold several cars on Ebay and I find that honesty makes for a happier transaction. I am only selling this car because I have a lot of toys and I need to sell a couple for a down payment on a house. Our family is expanding and some of my things have to go. You could easily rate this car an 8.5 out of 10. This is a car that looks cool, and runs as good as it looks! You can take it to all the cruise nights or car shows, but not get upset if you pick up a chip or a door ding in the parking lot. This is a great car! If this is the kind of car that you are looking for, then you won’t be disappointed; I haven’t been, but then again this is my 5th Ranchero, so I am a little biased!
