1969 Morgan M28

For sale is a Morgan 28 masthead sloop. Sails and rigging are in good condition (roller furling jib and running rigging are five years old.) I hauled the boat, sand and painted the bottom last year. The hull is dry and the top sides are solid but the boat needs a paint job. The radio works as does the shore power connection, including the AC battery charger. The Westerbeke engine is regularly serviced and starts every time, but will stop after a few minutes because the fuel tank needs cleaning. It will need to be cleaned before going cruising again. The centerboard cable is broken, making the normal 3.5 ft draft 6 ft with the centerboard down. I opted no to fix it since I sail with it down anyway. Head and holding tank were replaced about 3 years ago. There are no cushions with the boat, but it comes with a swim ladder and a few life jackets. It's a fun and easy keel boat to sail, but needs TLC, and that's reflected in the price. It has a current Maryland registration (2015).
