Honda VTXR 1800R (Retro) 2002 This is a very well-maintained motorcycle with just 1,327 miles on it as of May 31, 2014. Each winter, the bike is put into heated storage at the dealership where I bought it (Fox Valley Cycles). This bike has no dings, no dents, no scratches, and has never been dropped or crashed or even braked hard. There are many enhancements and upgrades to the bike. The biggest change I made is the exhaust. I swapped out the original pipes for a Hard-Krome, 2-into-1, exhaust system. The bike is a little on the loud side and some of you may like that. For those of you who don’t, I have the original exhaust system if you want it and it is included in the purchase price of the bike. I have also added a number of chrome pieces that are best identified by looking closely at the photographs of the bike. Not all of the additions/modifications/changes are described here but some examples are: -        Chrome Kuryakyn air cleaner that looks cool but probably doesn’t change much about the bike’s performance. -        Chrome tachometer (looks nice, not needed, bike runs at very low RPM) that serves almost no purpose at all. You don’t need a tachometer on this bike. You can always tell when you need to shift. -        Chrome backrest & chrome rear carrier which is a nice addition for your passenger. -        Chrome radiator cover. -        Additional lights up front. -        Custom windshield that can easily be removed. Purists want the wind in their faces. Practical riders don’t want to be buffeted and bounced around on a ride. The windshield is there for you to use, remove, or throw away. Or re-sell on eBay!
