Vehicle Detail
Overview: Silver 2007 Porche 911 (997) Turbo Mileage: 17,300 Condition: Excellent It breaks my heart, but it's time to say goodbye to my gorgeous Porsche 911. Family, health and work issues are just taking up too much time these days so I'm going to have find a new hobby (suggestions welcome). Last month I parted with my 1000+ wrhp Corvette but that was cake compared to letting go of this Porsche. Visually it's a stunning car- when you park and walk away you always look back. And the looks are backup up incredible diveability and phenomenal power. 785 HP & 839 ft lbs of torque. This is crank power based on Mustang Dyno results (the dyno sheet is included below). I had it shipped directly to Evolution Motorsports (EVOMS) in Arizona where I spent another $13,300 on some minor repairs and a few nice upgrades: Prior to purchase the original owner has spent over $50,000 on upgrades including many cosmetic enhancements and an EVT 700 kit. And then in October of last year the car was overhauled again - another $24,000 - to upgrade to an EVT 775: In addition to the initial $13K of upgrades I have put another 7K into the car since having it here in Utah (about half of that was upgrading to current gen intercoolers). Additionally these invoices don't reflect the stereo equipment or install which I would estimate ran about $6,000 back when it was put in. This Porsche is as fast as it is beautiful! As soon as the boost kicks in you get pushed back into your seat and it's just a thrill every time you hit wide open throttle. Below I've included a dyno graph from last October 2013. But what good is power without handling? I'm pleased to say that the handling on this car is unreal- I feel like I could steer through any obstacle course. It's sort of like driving a rocket powered go cart. I had the car aligned and calibrated by EVOMS in March 2013 as shown below. Over the past year or so I have worked with Evolution Motorsports (Arizona) and RaceCo (Utah) and we have ironed out nearly every kink. If you have questions you can contact me, EVOMS or RaceCo - all parties are familiar with the car and will be happy to answer any questions you might have. Here is what I've had modified / fixed since owning the car: $600 - Rebuilt flow matched injectors - January 2014 $360 - New GT3 82 mm throttle body - January 2014 $3500 - EVOMS ClubSport intercoolers - June 2013 $4500 - Brembo two-piece slotted rotors - March 2013. Also added new ceramic brake pads. $2000 - Werks1 carbon fiber front splitter - March 2013 $2200 - New ROTTech carbon fiber side view mirror covers and chrono gauge pod (I am also including a new ROTTech carbon fiber dash). $180 - OEM Silver finished hood emblem$170 - ROTTech LED interior lighting - beautiful, bright white. $600 - OEM Carbon Fiber Shift Knob - March 2013 $400 - Sport chrono gauge was recently replaced (fully operational via the dash controls). $400 - Suspension & alignment tune- March 2013, tuned and adjusted for aggressive street driving. $700 - New OEM TMPS - March 2013 $1600 - New OEM MAF sensors - July 2013 $1399 - Toyo R888 front & rear tires - March 2013 $N/A - Brand new EVOMS tune built from scratch on current 5007 version software (previous version on the car was 5001) - August 2013 $800 - Repaired a parasitic power drain (defective comfort control module) Rebuilt blow off valves, replaced check valves, replaced misc. hoses, pressure tested. Interior: I'm a pretty tall guy and I find the interior spacious and luxurious. This is one of the few cars I can sit in that has a sunroof (which is one of my favorite features). The interior is in excellent shape. No tears in the seats (one scratch and normal wear on the driver's seat, of course), carpet and headliner are in good condition, no stains, floor mats are great and the dash and trim are also super nice. The stereo is this car is excellent (the stock PCM has been replaced) and makes cruising around even more enjoyable. The two JL Audio amps are professionally mounted in the front trunk. There is an iPod cable running out of the right side of the center console. Due to the modifications the back up sensors on this car are no longer operational, but the stereo has a functional back up camera. Exterior: Overall the car is in amazing shape. I get nothing but compliments on this 911- people want to talk about it, photograph it and they wave at me like I'm some kind of b-list celebrity. Earlier this year the car was cleaned by Detail Boss (Arizona) and they did an incredible job (I have additional pics from the detailing I can send if anyone is interested). The paint is in fantastic shape and still looks vivid (maybe a funny thing to say about a silver car, but there you go). There is the normal wear and tear on the car such as some rock chips on the front bumper and spoiler. The sunroof works perfectly. The spoiler rises and lowers with no issues. No leaks of any kind anywhere. Other things you should know: Emissions are good to go. I have painstakingly worked though every emissions issue and all the OBDII tests run . The car has catalytic converters and should even pass any sniffer test (if required). The only place this car probably can't go without "help" is California. But it's not what you know, it's who you know. Maintenance on any car is important. With a modified car, maintenance is critical. Make sure you know a trustworthy and competent mechanic or custom shop! Although the drivability of this car is phenomenal, it's important to be comfortable with the additional power and performance that this car offers. It is very different than a stock 911 Turbo. Full disclosure: Occasionally the long term fuel trims on the car max out and need to be reset (and I am including an Actron CP9575 handheld scan tool which can do this). To date I'm not sure why this occurs and have been working with Evolution Motorsports to address the issue. If desired they will be happy to assist the new buyer as well. The issue is intermittent and infrequent. I am perfectly willing to discuss what the car might need to address the fuel trim issue, the associated costs and what we have done so far. Other info: With regard to the price I have definitely tried to take everything into account and price the car fairly. In addition to the eBay listing I will be selling the car locally and on different forums so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. If you'd like to come by and see the car I'd be happy to take you for a ride. I have no issues if you want to send out a friend or mechanic out to look at / inspect the car. I have the car's title in hand. I will split shipping with the buyer (up to a reasonable amount). In addition to the actual car this listing includes a Durametric cable, an instruction manual, 1 key & fob, Kenwood remote, 2007 Porsche literature, all car paperwork (invoices, work orders, etc) and misc parts left over from misc upgrades (old emblem, rotors, brakes, etc). Thanks for looking! Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
