1978 Honda CR

You are bidding on a 1978 Honda CR250R. This bike is in great condition, has a very strong engine. Cylinder has been bored to .080 over and Nikasil plated. I understand the original cylinder could not be bored in the classic sense, but boring and re-plating is fairly common these days. I have installed stronger 1983 CR480 forks (43mm) and triple clamps which provides much less flex. The Kehin flat slide carb provides much better throttle response than the standard round slide. Standard silencer has been replaced with an aluminum one. Rear suspension is via Works Performance nitrogen charged shocks. Frame has been powder coated, engine has been completely disassembled, cases sand blasted and primed and painted with 4 coats of high heat engine paint. All seals have been replaced. New Uni dual stage air filter. Bike has low hours, and is in great condition. One of the fastest 250cc bikes I have ever ridden! This is the classic Honda from the works era, beautifully reconditioned.
