(RE-LISTED - Winning previous bidder declined to complete the transaction.) I'm retiring, so my 2004 Honda 919 commuter is up for sale. This bike has been garaged, properly maintained and has never abused since I bought it new. It's never left me stranded. It's fast, smooth, handles well and has great brakes. It's in excellent mechanical condition, and you can expect many more trouble-free miles. After all, it's a fuel injected, liquid cooled Honda Four. The exhaust is actually the stock system, with the Honda Legal Department mandated heat shields removed for a sportier look. The Power Commander III USB with stock map from Dan Kyle really cleans up the overly rich factory map, and improved fuel economy to about 45 MPG. Other mods are Renthal Ultralow handlebar, center stand, fly screen, tapered roller steering head bearings, Clear Alternatives LED taillight with integrated turn signals, mini turn signals in front. The factory shop manual, owners manual and original bill of sale are also included. Other parts included are stock tail light, turn signals, exhaust shields, handlebar, remaining mirror, spare mini turn signal, and miscellaneous hardware. A few years ago, someone backed into the 919 in a parking lot and knocked it over, ruining the paint. I didn't want to spring for a professional repaint, so I did a rattle can job. The 919 is a modern "standard" bike, or "UJM" (Universal Japanese Motorcycle). If you're looking for something other than a crotch rocket or a cruiser, this bike might be for you.
