Vehicle Detail
1970 MUSTANG COUPE (GT THEME) Car has been restored over the last six years. New gold metallic paint, new torque boxes, floors, and super solid underneath. The car has a Mach 1 hood painted gold and black with the scoop and scoop lights. The bumpers have been replaced (minor pitting), car has GT wheels painted gold with new GT centers and beauty rings. Decent Good Year Eagle ST tires. New chrome wheel well moldings, new chin spoiler, rear wing, new grill, grill emblem, trunk emblem letters, headlights, and mirrors. The rear glass is brand new and the rest very good. GT billett gas cap. Dark ginger interior-the seats are original and excellent with the exception of the top of the back seat (tearing). All other interior panels have been restored to their original color. The headliner is brand new and dome light. The dash pad has a new black dash pad cover. The package tray is custom new. The car has a GT steering wheel, new JVC stereo, CD, MP3, etc. New dual dash speaker and rear power bass speakers. We put in new after market gauges on the floor, but the originals do work, just disconnected. The car has power steering, new universal joints, drive shaft has been balanced. The suspension is stock and was done before I got the car. I put new Hp end links on it, new front shocks, newer rear air shocks, rear spring shackles, rear traction bars, new front shock towers, a one piece export brace and Monte Carlo bar painted the color of the car. The brakes are all drum and new, new wheel cylinders and hardware. Brake lines are new and fuel line and fuel tank. Installed 3 years ago, the motor has only around 1,000 miles (rarely driven). The motor is a brand new balanced crate engine 302 cubic inch approximately 350 HP, 360 lbs torque. Comp cams thumper cam 278-297/.491-.476. Sealed power hypereutic pistons/rings. Fel-pro gaskets, Clevite 77 rod, main and cam bearings. High volume Melling oil pump, pick up screen and drive shaft. Pioneer harmonic balancer, flexplate, high performance valve springs, brass freeze plugs and bolts, Melling push rods, double roller timing set, professional Products polished dual plane intake. Pioneer aluminum front cover, chrome valve covers, chrome oil pan, dip stick tube, thermostat housing and breather. Ford valve locks and retainers. New headers, dual exhaust, and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. Edelbrock 600 electric choke carb, new distributor with a Mallory electronic ignition module (no points). New plugs, wires, and blaster coil. New Champion 4 core aluminum radiator, new heater core, hoses, battery, alternator, water pump, fuel pump, belts, voltage regulator, flex fan, and shroud. We mounted an electric fan on the radiator as a pusher (toggle switch operated) to help cooling in hot weather and/or long idling periods (like a parade if you participate). Fully rebuilt C-4 AMD automatic transmission, Transgo shift kit, new torque converter, less than 500 miles. We put in 8 inch Posi rear with 4:11 gears. We have over $22,000 invested. The car is fast, sounds incredible, and is super clean and turns heads everywhere you drive it. Wins trophies all the time, never abused, raced, and is always kept in a climate controlled garage and covered. Never drives in rain.On May-28-14 at 13:10:32 PDT, seller added the following information: correction in the description: the car does not have power windows-----it does have power steering here are a few links for youtube vids I have of the car: http://youtu.be/KLRxYeEyJkA http://youtu.be/2KksegaUDfE
