1971 Honda CT70 Trail 70 CT 70 Mini Running Project Original Paint AZ Bike I bought this bike as a complete disassembled basket case and reassembled using all the parts that came with it. This bike is in great shape for its age. Not sure if the speedometer shows the correct mileage at 6109. Bike came with a different headlight housing attached (gold), but had a red housing as well, so I installed the speedometer in that housing. Bike has great compression and runs great. It is missing the spark plug cover, air filter discs and a tail light lens, but is otherwise complete. Rear brake cable is not installed as it was stuck and non-functional. It will come with the bike, as it may be usable with some work. Headlight wiring has been modified at some point and will need to be addressed in order to function. The return line for the fuel seems like it has shrunken and has a split on the end, so it will not fit on the carburetor, therefore it is recommended that this is replaced before riding. Muffler does have a couple of holes in it, most likely from condensation that stayed in the pipe, but these are readily available. I did get this bike running and rode it down the street. All gears work and shifts smoothly. Throttle works well. Overall, this is a great project bike to ride as-is or completely restore, as it is the desirable Ruby Red color.
