1965 Mercedes Benz 230 SL White with black interior. Automatic. Very nice running example with a very strong service history. Same owner from 1965 until 2003. Fresh brakes and engine tuning. Car has various minor cosmetic flaws. These are great vintage cars, they a fun to drive, they look great and they are very reliable. The 230 is more of a sports car than the later cars due to a tighter suspension. This car is in wonderful driver condition, with various cosmetic flaws, yet it is very useable so you can go to the supermarket and not worry as much as if you had a freshly restored example. The car is very solid underneath with the exception of the trunk floor. Car is located in northwestern connecticut about 75 miles north of New York City.
