Providing additional information based on some questions. Car can be manually switched between 4-wheel and 2-wheel mode. However, we always used the car in 4-Wheel mode and tried the 2-wheel only just a random few times to see only how it would work. I remember that following the instructions, if it is done at low speed with foot off the brake and accelerator it would shift from and back 2 and 4 wheel mode. I did not notice any issues. Tires were replaced recently so they are in good condition. Brakes and steering were serviced recently as well so they are good. Car runs well. Couple of issues I know from my wife (who drove the car past few years). 1: When starting it takes couple of key-turn cranks but once it starts it runs properly. 2: The rear cargo lift hatch opens but needs to be propped up as the hydraulic arm is not working well. Other than these no known current issues I am aware of. That being said, it is 16 years old and may need work from time to to time to keep in good condition. This is expected and we also spent on maintenance as necessary, but as there are no monthly payments with it being paid for, it is nice and inexpensive to own and use, especially in winter, when the 4-wheel drive, traction, and height off the ground are appreciated. However, if buyer is still concerned about the car to their own level of satisfaction, the buyer may like to have a car inspection done after purchase and get necessary maintenance performed to bring the car up to their level of performance.
