1978 Honda CB400T cafe racer built from a clean low mileage bike with only 4k miles on the clock. This bike is about 75% finished, most of the hard work is done, just needs someone to take it to the next level. It runs and rides but it needs some carb work, needs the rear brake hooked up (I do not have the brake pedal or any of the linkage parts), needs the lighting hooked up (I do not have a headlight for it), and then just cosmetic finishing. The gas tank is a large aluminum cafe tank made in England, purchased new back in the 1990's (it does have one small patched spot on the top front edge and a couple very small dents). New cafe seat assembly, new clip on handlebars, new Ballistic battery, new mufflers. Frame was powder coated silver, there are a few scratches that occurred during the build. Tires are in great shape, I have more Comstar mags and I'll be happy to throw one in on the deal so you can have a matched set. I've ridden this bike up and down the road a few times and will continue to do so just to keep the battery up so mileage will creep up a bit. It is a very cool bike to ride and with the mufflers it has on it, it sounds much bigger than it is, it's a very mean sounding bike. This will make a seriously cool bike when it's finished.
