1998 BMW 7-Series 740iL is equipped with a 4.4 Liter 8 Cylinder engine and Automatic Transmission. Vehicle drives, shifts through all gears just fine. But occasionally . The transmission will slip when you drop down from 2 gear to 1st gear, Then back to normal. It would delay at times before the transmission control module will switch. I believe the problem is with the transmission control module box or a bad sensor but not sure. I have already replaced the transmission,flushed it and new tranny fluid. still the same problem. Besides that engine runs fine with lots of power. The odometer reads 131,500Miles. It has all the standard equipment. All required maintenance has been performed. changed radiator, Thermostat, whole front end suspension worth over $3000. Coolant flush, and recent oil change (mobil synthetic 5w 30. with less than 200 miles on it.) . The interior is in great condition. leather is intact, headliner, all the electronic component work. dash lights work, doors locks, no electrical problems except right back window doesnt role down. It needs a new window regulator ,I have a Bentleys repair manual which i would include in the sale. Vehicle comes with two keys. This vehicle is very drivable if you don't mind the occasional tranny slips. selling because I no longer have the funds to to fix the problem. Thanks for looking! Send best offers for consideration!
