This is a pristine 2002 GSXR 1000. I purchased it 2 years ago with 11,000 miles on it with intensions to take road trips on it but that never happened. It has a new battery and rear tire, Ventura rack/bag system and an aftermarket muffler. Otherwise it is stock. With the Ventura system you can carry enough stuff to take a weeklong trip. I also have a "rocket locker" bag that locks into the rear in place of the seat. It has never been raced or dropped. I have the same exact model in California with 31K miles and it runs perfectly and have only changed battery once and chain/sprocket recently. I have ridden up into northern California several times for 5-10 day trips, doing 300-400 miles a day without fatigue problems. I find the crotch rockets are not as uncomfortable for long rides as people say they are. It starts right up, idles well and runs strong. It has a claimed weight of 186lb. I have had the California one up to 173mph and it feels rock solid. You could have a very reliable, very fast, show room condition GSXR 1000 for about 1/3 of the price of a new one.
