Touring wagons are hard to come by, especially in good condition, and even more rare with the 4.4 liter V8 that comes with the 540i. Also rare is the color of the paint - Aspen Silver Metallic. Tires have about 75% tread life left, mounted to the factory M-Sport wheels. Also fitted from the factory as part of the Sport Wagon package is an M-Sport steering wheel with audio control. Other features include a telescoping steering wheel, heated seats, Navigation, and PDC (Parking Distance Control). NO DEAD pixels in the instrument cluster - very common issue on E39s. This car was taken care of. Recently replaced the following items within the last few hundred miles: -Upper and lower radiator hoses -Rear brake pads and sensors (fronts have plenty of life left) -Brand new AGM battery in the last month -DDM Xenon Angel Eye headlights with 8k HID's and matching color angel eyes. (Three months old, still look new) -BMW M-Sport Door Sills -Roof-Rack Cross-Bars -Bavarian Soundworks Soundplicity III stereo module, offering bluetooth audio streaming, phone calls with hidden mic, and USB charging for any smart phone! The best part is, songs and volume can be controlled from the M-Sport steering wheel! 3k miles ago, the engine had a complete top-end overhaul with timing chain guides and tensioners replaced (a common wear item), re-ground valves and seats, valve stem seals, and head-gaskets replaced. Transmission filter was also replaced and fluid flushed at this time. Excellent condition on the exterior and interior, with no issues. Clean title. Drives like a dream and handles quite well. Lots of fun to drive, but I'm forced to sell due to finances. Carfax available for serious bidders.
