Vehicle Detail
Purchased the car in 2008. The paint on the car and all body work was done by previous owner(s) Car exterior including the vinyl roof was done at that time. Car came with 4:11 gears and a summit crate 350 motor. It was NOT the original motor. And this motor was replaced. It has an electronic fuel pump. The gas tank was notched out to fit the fuel filter and thus the gas gauge is off slightly. It does work, just don't let the gas gauge go below 1/4 of a tank, it will be out of gas before it gets to "E" The Trim Tag is 01D ST67 12637 LOS 15188 TR765-Z H-H WL @MG 3SK I continued with the Interior refinish in 2008. It will still need a shifter boot, I would change the interior door panels. In 08, replaced the radiator with an Aluminum 4 core radiator from Heartbeat City. (receipt available upon request) In 09 the TH-400 Transmission was rebuilt. In 04/10, new 3:55 gears from Summit Racing installed into the 12 bolt rear. The steering box changed for a new 1988 Corvette box and a new rag-joint. In 2010 installed an RS hideaway headlight kit. The brand new SBC 427 engine was purchased 12/22/09 and completed the install in May of 2010. In May 2010, had sub-frame connectors installed into the car. The engine does not even have 1200 miles on it. The miles it does have are regular road cruising miles. This car has not seen a track since I owned it. I do not know the original miles this Chassis has seen. Replaced the Cheetah shifter was installed in 2010 (parts receipt available upon request). With this install I had to setup a separate switch for the reverse lights. The lights do work, but you'll need to manually switch off when moving the shifter into drive. In 06/10, installed a new radio and speakers into the car. The stereo is Custom Auto-Sound, AM/FM receiver cassette player, ask for details.CAR is being sold AS IS! Price does NOT include shipping! All brake lines were replaced. All fuel lines were replaced. In 2011 I had installed Air COnditioing into the car (Vintage Air System) this was not an oringal A/C Car. I instralled a (Wilwood) brake booster with new master cylinder into the car. . In 2012 I redid the rear tire drum brakes. Installed an electronic thermostat to turn the electric fan on. Had the A/C Charged up. I never smoked in this car. In 2013, I had the transmission refreshend up. I had regular maintenace done to the car. This car needs a driver. In 2014, I started another restoration project and want to part company with this vehicle to the right person. The above are just some of the bullet points regarding the car. There is more-much more, so don't be afraid to ask. Examples of Questions I won't answer or won't answer again: What is the minimum you'll take for the car? ...Bid and you'll find out but be prepared to buy Will you accpet a cashiers check/bank check/money order? YES but will not allow the merchandise to leave the sellers property for ten days or until confirmation can be made that this check clears the oringators bank - whichever happens first. FRAUD can be done by creating a counterfeit bank check, cashiers chheck, or money order. The check appears to be true to form. It clears your bank almost immediately, but it will take up to ten days for the check originating back to the lending institution to determine this check was not valid. This can actually take longer than a personal check to be discovered. Will you accpet a perosnal Check? NO Will you pay for delivery if I cut you a check for more than the agreed to selling price? NO Examples of questions I will answer: How much HP is the engine producing? 315.2hp @ 3500 rpm, 399.9hp @ 4000rpm 501.2hp @4800rpm and 572.8hp @6200rpm How much Torque does it have. 527 lbft @3500rpm, 549.6lnft @ 5000rpm, and 485.2lbft @ 6200rpm I can take a Paypal payment but will require any remaining balances owed to be in a cash payment. Any bank checks will require a 10 day hold. Any bank check will have a copy going to the appropriate authorities prior to me cashing. I suggest paying through paypal or with cash. Do not wire me money! I need to ensure that there are no fraudulent checks and that the funds did not just clear my bank but the originators bank. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Holes in the trunk where the Electric Fuel pump was originally mounted ghave been sealed. Trunk was spatter painted but the spoiler had missing gromets sealing the spoiler to the top of the trunk. This allowed water in and surface rust to re-develop. Again, trunk is in great condition, I will supply three cans of spatter paint to the winner -Just recommend sanding down. PLEASE REVIEW THE YOUTUBE VIDEO to hear how it runs!On May-19-14 at 12:50:15 PDT, seller added the following information: The transmission does have an intercooler. In 2010 I installed an MSD Box and coil. In 2012 installed a drivetrain loop. The car is garage kept with dehumidifiers running.
