Selling my 1978 GL1000 Goldwing with 30,000 miles. I have too many in my garage and this one has to go. This bike was my daily rider all last summer and I mean every day since May. It has been gone through by me and has new belts, rebuilt calipers and master cylinders, and carbs redone with Randakk kits. (If you dont know about Randakk and his kits, and these carbs in general, you should stay away from these bikes in my opinion) The tires are older but in very good condition, all electricals work great, newer battery and a very good starter. I have been riding these older Wings for a few years now and sell one or two a year. The last one I sold on Ebay went to Texas, and the buyer flew in and rode it home with no problems. This bike is in the as good a condition and I would not hesitate to ride it anywhere. It is about a 7 on a 1 to 10 scale with good paint but only fair chrome, and the exhaust has been worked on a bit but is very solid and sounds great, and the seat is good, almost but not perfect. Just a really reliable old GL1000 that looks like a rider, not a show bike, with no leaks and no smoke.On May-18-14 at 18:25:10 PDT, seller added the following information: I just want to let everyone know that I am riding this bike almost every day so the mileage is going up. Just back and forth to work and out for trips on the weekends, no big deal but just want you to know.
