2003 Jaguar X Type - 3.0 - v6 - RARE!! --> 5 speed manual. We purchased the car in April 2013 with 103,000 miles on it. The car now has 112,000 miles. It has been my wife's daily driver. We have now acquired a number of other cars, including a truck for winter, so we no longer need the AWD Jaguar. We purchased the car with the intention of having a nice daily driver, which it is, and a great winter car. The JAGUAR drives better in the snow than my F150 pickup 4x4. Since we have purchased the car, we have installed some new items: Tires have 5,000 miles on them (balance and alignment on all four) Brand new clutch (less than 1,000 miles - I have the paperwork) New engine temp sensor New fuel injectors New brakes (5,000 miles ago) Disclosures: Check engine light is on: P0460 is the code. The problem was traced to an "EVAP Vacuum purge valve solenoid." I've never needed fix the problem and the car has driven fine with the light on. The airbag light is on. The car drives good and is excellent in the snow (the primary purpose of us purchasing it). The 3.0 liter V6 is strong and fast, the Jag is a lot of fun to drive, and it handles very well.
