Vehicle Detail
For Your consideration a beautiful great running, low mileage, customized 1976 Honda Gold Wing: Please no hate mail or nasty e-mails from those who have placed a bid on this bike already or made me an offer the last two times I had it listed.... Both times I listed the machine I got cold feet and pulled the listing. That will NOT happen this time. So I took an extremely clean, low mileage (14,300) naked Wing (original photo attached) and customized it. I've done several CB750s and there are so many of them out there I wanted something different not knowing how well these machines really run.... Because of back issues I had to use a little higher bar than I wanted to but it turned out really nice and I was able to hide the wires inside the bars.. I spent way to much money on this project! Condition: This is a well running machine. The carbs were dismantled, cleaned, synced and the new Randakk carb kit(s) installed. All fluids have been changed on this machine and the bike has new tires as well. This bike is turn key with NO hidden issues...I rode this bike for eight hours a few weekends ago in the North Carolina mountains and like any Honda I have ever had, it runs excellent! Even the Harley bearded guys think it's cool :) Work done: Wheels- Removed the spoke wheels and installed Lester Mag wheels. They both have new bearings and have been powder coated with hand pin striping..Very cool..... All three brake calipers have been rebuilt with new pistons and all rubber seals. The calipers were bead blasted and powder coated. New brake lines all around too. I mentioned new tires as well. Paint- I went crazy here spending money but I think you'll agree the paint turned out exceptional with NO flaws, chips or scratches. Tank has been repainted in the original red color with period correct pin striping. The chrome rear fender was painted the same red. I painted the side covers and radiator shrouds black. Actually I didn't paint them, a professional paint shop did the paint for me. Over $1000 in paint.. Powder coat- Lots of professional powder coat on this machine. Pretty much the entire front end-Fork lowers, head light ears, head light, all turn signals and fork brace (Randakk part) and front fender. Valve covers, belt cover and several other motor pieces powder coated. Oil filter cover, water pump cover as well.. Rear tail light was added and powder coated. I Know I'm forgetting some other parts.. Pipes- ahhh the pipes! Very cool sounding black set of Window Maker pipes installed. Randakk's bike had these and I had to have a set. $1500 and they are not made any longer...Randall describes the sound as an angry Porsche :) Seat- Corbin Gunfighter seat...VERY comfortable and stylish... Guys and girls- usually when I buy a bike, go to pick it up, it's not as nice as the photos made it out to be. The photos I am using of this bike are not the greatest, still look good and I can tell you it's much nicer in person...I live in Mooresville North Carolina just north of Charlotte. If you would lie to see the bike in person prior to bidding, please contact me and we'll set something up. I have the buy it now price set at the price I was offered two times for the bike and lower than I was originally asking for the bike.
