This 1960 Austin Healey Sprite underwent a thorough 'rotisserie' restoration in early 2012 immediate prior to my purchase in June of that year. The paint is Mini Cooper Chili Pepper Red and the black upholstery and top were installed new at that time. The engine is a correct 948 cc model, though I am told not the engine originally installed at the factory. The engine starts easily, runs well and maintains normal temperature both in town and on the highway, even on very hot days. The transmission is a later 'rib case' 4 speed and is in very good operating condition. Rear springs are new. The car has later model AH disc brakes installed on the front. Tires were installed new in 2012. The grille has had the 'moustache' removed, and to be completely correct, should be replaced. I have a good front bumper that should be re-plated to meet the standards of the rest of the car. Odometer is in the very low 60k numbers but due to the age of the car cannot be relied upon to be correct. The seat trim, dash vinyl covering and top were all new in 2012. The car has always been stored inside when not in use. These are wonderful fun cars for the fair weather months and the season has just started. Transportation or shipping is primarily the responsibility of the purchaser, although I may be willing to consider delivering the car for a fee.
