Vehicle Detail
For a 27 year old classic, this is one of the best you'll find. 2 owners, never saw winters so there's no rust. Very solid mechanicals with 174K and driving it every day. Doesn't burn or leak any oil. Rblt 5 spd at around 125K. New heater core at 135K. Last few years have seen new brake pads, front calipers, S/S brake hoses, master cylinder, metal lines, oil cooler hoses and o-ring, trunk seal from Vintage Rubber and just installed Cooper 195/60-14 mounted on MB mesh wheels. Steering and suspension are all tight and working. Driver's seat has some wear on the left bolster from entering/exiting, all fabric is extremely clean with 1 very small burn hole in driver's seat, dash has a couple cracks but they all come standard equipment with them, headliner is not torn but worn. Carpet is very good. A/C has always blown real cold, never had to charge it in my 14+ years of owning the car. Paint had faded on the roof and hood. Repainted original silver 5 years ago. Timing belt will need to be replaced at 190K. Had a national franchise called FibreNew estimate repairing the dash cracks for $450 last fall. Muffler will need to be replaced but not falling off. Was going to go with a TT 2.5" cat back stainless system but you can buy a stock muffler for about $100 as the rest of the exhaust is perfect. Also did all new shifter bushing last summer. Whenever something was needed, I took care of it. Reason for selling: built a trike and that is my new summer toy. Need to have a 12 month New England vehicle. The person who said you can never have too many toys was definitively UNMARRIED! Advertised locally as well; reserve the right to remove listing if car sells via other media.
