I have a 1997 gmc sierra 4x4 extended cab I need to sell. I was told the engine and tranny just got rebuilt about 2500 miles ago. There are some issues. The body has some blemishes, there is no radio, the door mechanisms don't work well and you sometimes have to roll down the window and open the door from the exterior handle, the passenger seatbelt is messed up, the truck has glass packs and a loud exhaust. The truck does run good, shift well, and 4x4 works good. It has big tires on it that are getting low on tread depth. I did not do the work on the rebuilt and took this truck on a trade, so I can't offer too much info on that. The speedometer and odometer did not get hooked up after the rebuild so they don't work, but I will include a gps that tells your speed. The truck has a salvage rebuilt title. I recently figured out that when the truck sits for a few days or a week it takes a little extra cranking to turn over and does not start immediately. The start is also rigged to be button push and not by the turn of a key.
