DESCRIPTION: 1989 Mitsubishi Montero 2 door short wheel base model up for sale. It is all original with no rust or accidents. A fine example of an unmolested survivor, never abused off road or modified in any way. Ice cold A/C. I will also include a hard to find factory brush guard for the front end which is not shown in the pictures. The drivers seat has a suspension mount installed to smooth out any off road bumps (not shown in picture). 153K original miles with a clear title. All electrical items are in perfect working order and all lights work. Four wheel drive works perfectly. Original interior in great condition. Crack free dashboard and excellent glass. Tracks straight as an arrow down the road and also gets decent gas mileage. Recent service and maintenance include the following in 2013: * Rebuilt radiator * Fresh coolant * Complete lube of all suspension and driveline * New KYB gas-a-just shocks x4 * New sway bar end bushings * New windshield * New spark plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor * New exhaust system from the catalytic convertor back * New headlights * Fluid changed in transmission and rear differential * New fuel filter * New PCV valve * Trailer hitch added. * Replaced windshield washer tank (not pictured) * Air filter This vehicle has been a great daily driver for me. There is a small hole the size of a pea in the drivers seat cushion probably from an old cigarette burn. The center console lid has some cracked vinyl along the front edge but is still available from Mitsubishi for around $35.00. The carpets are original and in great shape.
