1969 Jeep CJ5 in absolutely stunning condition with original all steel body, original engine, transmission, transfer case and original practically everything else. This very low mileage Jeep was brought to us in amazing unmolested condition for a freshening up. We've done a complete frame off, every nut and bolt, restoration using as much of the original parts as possible and couldn't be happier with the results. The Jeep runs and drives perfectly, it shifts exactly as new, the 4 wheel drive works perfectly and it is a complete blast to drive. This particular Jeep is so nice we decided to bring it up to the World of Wheels show in Boston over the March 28th weekend and were pleased (but not surprised) to take 1st place in our class with this CJ. Seriously, it's that nice. This Jeep will be sold with the optional equipment Roll Bar, we just dig the look without it, but it does come with the Jeep, We did have to replace the original seats but the originals are included in the sale. A brand new Bikini Top is also included. We have not installed a new complete soft top but if you'd like us to we can, but that is not included in this sale. Please re-read that last sentence again, Thank You ! :-) Please keep in mind also that as nice as this vehicle is, it's a classic 1969 Jeep. It's not a brand new 2014 model. If you want AC and a CD and GPS and a BGP (big giant payment) those are available over at your local dealership. If you want a classic CJ that'll make you late where ever you are going (because people will stop you to talk to you everywhere you go) this may be what you're looking for. I also recommend coming by to look at this buggy before you purchase it if you're local to S.E. Massachusetts or if not, using eBay's vehicle inspection service where they'll send an impartial person out to take pictures and evaluate the vehicle for you. I've included a bunch of photo's of people at the car show looking it over, you may be able to get a vibe from their expressions as well. I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have. By the way, just so you know, the doggone registry of motor vehicles included the tenths the last time they generated the title. The title reads that the Jeep has 181,396 miles on it. (I'm not aware of ANY old CJ with that kind of mileage on it) It should have read 18,139 last time it was titled but the registry added the 6 tenths. The vehicle now has 25,402 miles on it. If you cut the dash and install one I'll come to your house and tear your tonsils out. (under the seat is OK) Yes, it does have heat and electric windshield wipers A brand new soft top, installed before we ship the Jeep to you will cost $1095.00 The early 70's style Armstrong tires complete the very cool look on this CJ and they have excellent tread life left but they are old and should be replaced at some point if you're planning to use this Jeep as a daily driver. The engine runs mint and is super clean inside and out. Yes, the optional Roll Bar does come with it and we'll install it before we ship the vehicle to you. It does not have the 3 point modern seatbelts we use today. New Brake Shoes, Wheel Cylinders, Hardware and Drums plus all new Brake Lines all the way around. The Hubs are vintage Sears units.
