Vehicle Detail
Low hour, all original 1977 Suzuki RM 125. All there, starts right up. We currently have 14 RMs from the aluminum tank years. We saw the nice 1976 RM 125 for sale on ebay currently going for over $2100. But, that bike as described is a little too nice to ride. So we figured we'd list one that you can get for less money and can race this summer. Our 77 RM 125 has very low hours, see close ups of cases. Appears to be all original except for silencer. Has $150 aluminum replacement silencer. Easy start, great compression. Even still has the kickstand so you know it wasn't ever seriously raced back in the day as that was the first thing "real racers" removed. To make perfect, bike could use new fenders and front number plate as some knucklehead spray painted the fenders and there is a chip out of front number plate. But the original plastic that is still on bike is fine for riding/racing. We have repro DC plastics for the bike if buyer is interested and will make you a deal. Please email with questions or more pictures. We also have over 20 spare OEM RM aluminum tanks, OEM pipes, Fox Air shocks, etc etc. We also have two beautiful, completely restored 1975 RM 125s. As you know, this was first year for the RM, with the downpipe. Let us know if interested. Also, we have several nice 76 and 77 RM 250s and some nice 78 plastic tank RM 100 riders/racers. Just ask. Also, may be able to help with cheap delivery or delivery to Mid-Ohio or AHRMA events. No reserve. Thanks. Have to laugh. In the first 2 hours this bike was listed we were offered $200 for the intact countershaft sprocket cover from someone doing a restore that can't find one, $250 for the tank and someone else who wants the aluminum silencer. Thanks for all the email but we really don't want to part this bike out even though it sounds like we'd make way more money. We are too lazy to sell bikes one piece at a time. We appreciate the interest but would rather sell complete bike. Thanks for the interest. Due to lots of interest we added a picture of some of the RM tanks we have. (The red tank pictured is an extra for our beloved 1981 Maico 490) Please feel free to ask questions or make an offer on the RM tanks. As you know, the smaller RM 125 tanks are much more plentiful. Lots of AHRMA guys we know use them on their race 250/370s as they are more comfortable being so much thinner and still hold more than enough gas for the short vintage MX motos. The bigger 250/370 tanks are scarce, much more difficult to find and therefore more expensive.
