1966 Other Makes Sears Allstate Puch

Up for bid is a 1966 Sears Allstate Puch motorcycle. I believe it to be the SR 175 twingle-type bike. It has only 1,223 miles on it.The bike sat unused for several years. Before that, I know it was running and riding, but there were some problems at the time the bike was parked. I can see the chain is off and there’s no battery. I don’t know what else it might need. I am not a motorcycle rider, so it is not apparent to me what all may be missing or wrong with the bike. I believe the bike is all original, including the Sears seat. The speedometer still has the see-through plastic break-in sticker on it. Tires are Semperit. The bike has some dents, scratches, broken taillight, a little tear in the seat, a missing cover, rust or corrosion spots on chrome, etc. See pictures. The tag on the front of the bike indicates: Made in Austria by Steyr-Daimley-Puch A.G.-Graz. 810-94211. Retailed through Sears Roebuck. I have clear title to the bike. I can’t tell you a whole lot about the motorcycle other than what I have here. Please take a close look at the pictures. The motorcycle is for pick-up in Lapeer, Michigan only. Thanks for looking.
