for sale great classic 65 Thunderbird very straight solid car in primer ready for new paint.The engine runs very well and im suspecting was rebuilt because of how clean it is and how well it runs. I got the car recently from a friend that bought it and just parked it. it wasnt running properly, bad battery etc. I replaced the battery and voltage regulator then installed a new edelbrock carb, vacuum tuned it, adjusted the timing and she runs beautifully. The transmission isn't shifting properly though. Not sure why. No slipping and seems to engage all gears fine and pulls hard. Just not running thru the gears on its own.Not sure if thats repairable or if the transmission needs to be replaced. Handles and brakes well. Interior is decent, Front seats need to be recovered. I threw some leopard print towels on there for now. Headliner also needs to be replaced. Other than that it looks good. I also replaced the dash voltage regulator all the gauges work and look really cool. Someone did however cut a hole in one of the dash pieces to install a new cd player.All the interior and exterior lights function properly. All the glass looks great the front windows are a little tricky to get up and down and those are the manual crank windows. Overall a great car very complete only missing 2 or 3 chrome pieces.
