SUPER LOW RESERVE!!! You are bidding on a ’72 Mercedes Benz 350SL (1971 built), VIN #10704412001838. The car has been in storage for many years. It was recently tuned up at a MB specialist shop, where the ECU was replaced and the brake system redone. With a new alternator, a new battery and tray, the car starts and runs great. The 4.5L V8 runs smooth. There are 89680 miles on the clock. The paint, an older re-spray, has scattered scratches throughout, from long term storage. The soft top is brand new and comes with the hard top as well. The floor, at one point in time has received new metal on both, driver and passenger side. There are a few rust spot inside of some of the wheel wells. The interior upholstery is in nice shape, the carpet is a little tired. The car is equipped with the optional rear bench. The seat belts are there but need to be sorted out. Some of the dashboard lights do not light up and the arm for the turn signal needs replacing. The dashboard shows a fairly thin crack, easily repairable. The radio is missing, the antenna broken. All four Michelin tires hold air. Comes with owner's manual, a spare wheel and some tools.
