This is a cab and chassis Ford F-5 with handmade body for cattle and general use on our family farm. Five ton load. Kept in the shed throughout its life, it ran well in 1988 at its cruising speed of 45 mph (4 speed forward, 1 reverse, manual non-synch transmission). Odometer has about 37,000 true miles. Body on chassis is 13’ long on oak beams 34” apart at outside surfaces, oak floor, pine sides that can be completely removed or used at 4’ or 6’ height. Many metal fittings hand-forged by my grandfather. Floor and sides in very good condition. Flathead V8 does not run but turns over without compression probably because of leaky valves. One owner truck with unique body for good rebuild. Title, original bill of sale and shop manual (CD) available. No delivery. Bidder must arrange pick up. Payment by PayPal or cash at pick up.
