Vehicle Detail

Black 2007 Corvette Z06 Mileage: 20,996 Condition: Excellent Coolness: 1,000,000,000,000 So here's the deal: I'm an old man now and it's time to move on and do old man stuff - jack my pants up too high, start sucking on hard candy and drive a Cadillac around at walking speed. Really looking forward to all of that. But seriously- family and work obligations, health issues and general lack of time for my hobby have brought me to this very sad moment- I'm selling my 2007 Corvette Z06. I have loved this Corvette for the last five years and have built it into a world class monster. My goal was to dyno 1000+ horsepower to the rear wheels and that's just what I did. Not for the squeamish or uninitiated this twin turbo Corvette is packed with some of the best upgrades anywhere and will not disappoint in style or performance. Everyone says it, but this is the one. Here, have a look: Here's an overview of the car's upgrades and features: Black 2007 2LZ Z06 Corvette Current Power: 1024 RWHP & 944 Ft Lbs TorqueLME 427 LSX Forced Induction Engine (full engine specs available on the build receipt below) • Callies Dragon Slayer Crank Shaft • Callies Ultra Billet Rods • Wiseco Forged Pistons • LSX 6 Bolt CNC Ported Heads • REV Titanium Intake & Inconell Exhaust valves • Cam Motion Custom LSX Turbo Camshaft Liquid Cooled Garrett GT3582R Turbochargers w/Custom Comp Turbo 64mm Billet Inducer Upgrade RPM Level VII TR6060 Transmission RPM Level IV C6 Z06 Quaife Differential Driveshaft Shop 1000HP Driveshaft C5 Heavy Duty Axles PFADT Featherlight Single Adjust Coilover Suspension PFADT C6 Z06 Racing Sway Bars TPS C6 Z06 Cross Drilled Rotors Tick Clutch Master Cylinder McLeod RXT Twin Disc Clutch w/ Aluminum Flywheel Injector Dynamics ID1000 Injectors APS 1000 HP Twin Pump Fuel System APS Intercooler & Oil Cooler B&B Fusion Exhaust w/ Quad 4″ Round Tips Mild 2 Wild Wireless Controller STSTurbo Methanol Injection System AMS-1000 Boost Controller DCPower 300 Amp SPX Alternator Dewitts A05AE Aluminum Radiator & Spal Dual 11″ Fans Holley Black Valve Covers B&M Precision Sport Shifter Innovate LC-1 Wideband Beltronics STi-R Plus Radar Detector HP Tuners Cable & Computer (Stored in Glove Box)Autometer ES Series Fuel Pressure & Boost Gauges AGT LED Interior LightsCTEK Battery Charger / Tender Custom JL Audio Based Stereo: • Pioneer AVIC-Z150BH Navigation Receiver • JL Audio ZR650-C Si Speakers (Front) • JL Audio ZR525 C Si Speakers (Rear) • JL Audio HD750/1 Amp (Mids) • JL Audio W6 10″ Subwoofer • JL Audio HD600/4 Amp (Sub) • PAC Steering Wheel Control Interface • Monster RCA Cables • Pioneer Backup Camera ClearBra on front and sides West Coast Corvette (Asanti) Forged 956 EXT Rims Extra set of black OEM rims w/ Michelin Super sport (front) & Hoosier R6 (rear) ZR1 Color Matched Spoiler Custom Ebony & Cobalt Red Interior Custom Fitted Z06 Branded Car Cover Lots of Cosmetic Enhancements (Venair red silicone engine hoses, emblems, interior accents, Lloyd’s floormats, ceramic tinting, blacked out lights, etc). Just think about it... Do you want to be the guy who says "It's got a thousand horsepower..." and then, in shame, you whisper "...at the crank" No way! Nobody wants to be that guy. This dyno was performed last year and we didn't do anything weird or incorporate black magic. You know what I'm talking about- packing ice around your intercooler, pulling off your air intakes and letting your car sit overnight on the dyno. How could you sleep at night? This is a gimmick free run at 15 psi (boost pressure) with methanol: It was worth it... I have put well over $130,000 into this car (I have paperwork and receipts for nearly everything). I'm not the kind of guy who thinks I made some kind of "investment." I know I won't get anything close to what I put into the car back out and I'm okay with that. I built this car because I wanted an adventure, because I was hungry for more power, because I wanted my kids to know that their dad was a badass (well... that he wanted to be one anyway). I had my day in the sun and it was beautiful. Keeping all that in mind I have tried to price this car fairly, especially given what's in there. If you build it... I oversaw every project and upgrade that this car has been through. I used the best local people available (one of my goals was to keep everything local): Lung Automotive (Lehi, UT), Premier Performance (West Jordan, UT), RaceCo and (Tooele, UT) CSD Audio (Murray, UT). You are welcome to contact any of these companies to discuss applicable aspects of the car's build. And because I'm the guy who commissioned the work I know every in and out of the car's operation so I'll create a custom user manual to explain how to every upgrade works (i.e. stereo, boost controller, wide band, etc) and how every modification affects the car. You won't get that with any other modded car! Engine & Drivetrain Even though the car puts down a grand to the wheels, if you're some kind of insatiable nut bag you might want to know the car is built for more. The engine is speced out to accommodate 1200 rwhp (see the build invoice below for a complete run down). You'll need to upgrade the fuel system and the turbos and you'll be on your way (or you could just add nitrous). Boost is controlled by an AMS-1000. Around town I keep the car on 6 psi which makes over 700 at the wheel. Boost can be adjusted to any level. The drive train is completely built - something many modded cars owners seem to neglect. I want to emphasis that if you're not familiar with this kind of power then this is probably not the right car for you (see "What you should know..." further down). The car's exhaust is a bi-mode B&B Fusion system. By closing or opening a flap in the exhaust you can choose if the exhaust sound is loud or quiet. This is an amazing exhaust- the growl in open mode is fantastic and in quiet mode the sound is just right for regular driving and there is no freeway drone. I'm sure it would be much more fulfilling to hear the car in real life but for now this video will have to do (this is all loud mode): I have never abused this car in any way (mechanically, verbally, etc). It was built for the dyno and has seen a few quarter mile runs. I have put less than 3000 miles on the car since the new engine was put in (and only about 16,000 total in the last five years or so). Everything is in excellent working order. Exterior: I think the pictures and video show that the car has been well cared for and that it's in excellent cosmetic shape. "Is the exterior perfect?" Anyone who says their car is in "showroom condition" is yanking your chain and it's just not realistic to expect perfection. The paint is in good condition but you'll want to have a professional detailing done. There are some small rock chips by the rear fender and a small scrape above one of the rear wheels (it has been touched up and is basically invisible). The car has a clear bra on the entire front that wraps around along the rocker panels and rear fenders- a testament, if you will, to the kind of care this car received. Windows all look great (one small rock chip on the windshield). The car has never been in any accidents (be sure to look at the AutoCheck report- just click "vehicle history report" tab). I put on some Asanti manufactured West Coast Corvette forged 956 EXT rims (275-30×19 front & 345-25×20). Most of the lights are blacked out. I also added a ZR1 spoiler so people knew I meant business. There are various stickers on the car and, at your request, I will begrudgingly remove them. That Autobot sticker got me out of a ticket once though (for real). The interior: The interior is also in excellent shape. No tears in the seats (normal wear on the driver's seat, of course), carpet and headliner are in good condition, no stains, floor and cargo mats are great and the dash and trim are also super nice. I spent a long time looking for the red trim. I wanted to have a "Ron Fellows" interior (black and red). There is no other Z06 interior like this one. Stereo & Radar Detector: I'm not just a horsepower freak- I love a good stereo too. In an effort to accelerate the loss of my hearing I upgraded the car's audio with a Pioneer receiver, JL Audio ZR-series speakers, a 10" W6 subwoofer and HD-series amps. The sub is mounted in a custom made box and the amps are mounted on a custom built rack. This kind of setup ensures that those around listen to what you want to listen to. Additionally the car has a Beltronics STi-R Plus integrated radar detector- a must have for this vehicle (I would accidentally go too fast all the time). What you should know... Tuning & ODBII: An HP Tuners cable and a copy of the software is included with the car. Right now the car is using a MAF tune (if you don't know what that is then now is a good time to start looking at another car). This tune allows the car to be OBDII complaint but the car does not have catalytic converters and will not pass a visual inspection (if required). As with any car like this I would recommend that you know a good tuner so you can make changes and tweaks (i.e. switching to a MAP tune) to suite your elevation, climate, preferences and driving style. Drivability & Maintenance: This car is a monster. Saying it's "fast" is offensive. When you push the throttle it just pulls and pulls, bending time and space around it (up to the legal speed limit, of course). I want to reiterate that this car is not a toy and not for the uninitiated (to power or awesomeness). "Yeah, I just turned sixteen!" No. Also, the car currently has an aluminum flywheel installed. While the lighter flywheel is good in many ways it can make street driving more difficult. You may want to consider switching to a steel flywheel. Maintenance on any car is important. With a modified car maintenance is critical. Make sure you know a trustworthy and competent mechanic or custom shop! Below is an additional dyno & a sampling of receipts: Dyno graph - 6psi ("around town") and 13 psi settings: Here is the build / invoice sheet for my first round with Lung Automotive: Here is the build / invoice sheet for my second round with Lung Automotive: Here are a couple of invoices for Premier Performance: Some of the stereo receipts (obviously this is not comprehensive): Yes... sometimes I shop at Crutchfield. Damn their excellent customer service. Extras:The car comes with everything mentioned above and includes one key & fob, the owner's manual. Also included in this listing are a ton of other misc parts (take a look at the picture below - this is all included). If you don't want or need the parts it's no problem - take as much or as little as you want. Not shown but also included (if you want) are the old valve covers and original rotors. If you have any questions drop me a line and I'll be happy to answer them. If you're local you're welcome to come by and look at the car (you can also send someone to look at it). I'll try and be as accommodating as possible. Thanks for checking out my listing!
