1981 Pontiac Trans Am This is a nice looking good running Black 1981 Pontiac Trans Am, v8 301 with great oil pressure with an automatic transmission. The car is not a leaker or smoker. This is an original California car that runs and shifts good. It just passed california smog check vehicle inspection and is currently registered. The carburetor was just rebuilt with a lifetime warranty. This Trans Am is an attention getter and would look great with the decal kit. The paint job is decent but there are some spots where the old decals looks like not all the adhesive got removed. Car always starts right up and sounds good. The wiring has not been all hacked or cut up. All the flairs are in great condition, it does need the lower plastic grills in the front bumper. The interior is in pretty good condition for being all original but could use a carpet. I think you could drive this car anywhere but could use new tires first. The car could use a tune up but still runs fine. All the glass is in good condition and windows go up and down smooth. All gauges work even the clock and the doors do not sag, they shut nice as does the hood and trunk. The floor boards and trunk are solid, there was some surface rust but it was cleaned and treated and dont ask me how but there is rust on the back underside of the trunk lid, you cant see it unless the trunk is open and you look under the trunk lid below the spoiler. This is a great Trans Am if you want a sharp daily driver that you can also take to your local car show but it is not a show car. I have described this as well to my knowledge, I will put new carpet in it for the buy it now price. please ask all questions before buying. You are more than welcome to see the car before bidding.
