Vehicle Detail

nice shiny, running, shifting stopping TS400 Enduro somehow escaped being stripped, beaten, raced, flogged, left for dead, forgotton, passed around thru family for 38 years... appears to have led a rather easy life... sitting IN a barn or garage as opposed to BEHIND a barn or garage. Obviously never owned by some idiot kid who thought it was fun to cross the river on it.. and then jump over the house!! Only shows the most gentle of wear or patina. No rust on bike Right side cover real nice left side cover cracked, fixed, no material missing tank clean inside, petcock does not leak, note a small dent under the "u" in suzuki Paint is not faded. seat real nice.. underseat real nice original tool kit in place in tool box, looks to be complete. a neat extra treat I bought this bike to get a Kaw 500 triple I wanted. I had to buy the 400 to get the 500. I have very little true experiance with the bike. I am telling you what I see, what I was told, and what I believe to be true. You see the bike in litterally the same condition I purchased it in. Exhaust particularly nice... the pipe, the crash guard, the chrome heat guard and the silencer are all real nice. May need a new gasket or some RTV sealant at the exhaust outlet of the engine into the pipe... a little smoke escapes espessilly when cold. No sound, but a little smoke Tires are of the original type, size tread, pattern but I doubt can be original... they are too nice, too soft, no cracks and still have the "tits" on them. If you wanted to take this bike to "the next level"... you could easily paint the engine side covers and polish the rims and backing places for the brakes... they are in nice shape..... but I really think showing the gentle wear on the bike tells a more correct story The bike starts easy from hot or cold... but use a FIRM KICK!! Clutch feels fine and shifts well This bike shines real well... you can just tell this was not a bike that spent it's life being ragged on. The handlebars have a slight "tweek" to them.. they are not perfectly straight.. minor but this way there are not surprises Hand and foot controls all nice, intact and not bent or broken Horn is missing I think Tight engine... not all ragged and loose. I cannot prove it.. but I believe the guy I who sold it to me that the engine had 70 mile old piston, rings, wrist pin bearing, and bore. It's a tight engine, HUGE compression, and no piston slap. Even the kick starter had a nice tight feeling... not all ragged, loose, flopping, half stripped... nice tight set up all around. 200.00 deposit via paypal, the rest by check via mail prefer not to discuss reserve or Buy It Now price I am happy to work with overseas buyer and will co operate with anyones shipper and make their life as easy as I can.
