This auction is for my 1976 Honda XL250 Motosport, in original unrestored condition. This is the only year for the white plastic fenders and centerport carb. I've done a lot of work to get it back to this condition, as the previous owner had no respect for this vintage enduro and lots of parts needed to be replaced. NOS parts include the left side handlebar control switch assembly, all 4 turn signals, seat cover, headlight rim, headlight bulb, handlebar grips, cables (choke, throttle, brake and clutch), fork seals, oil, and dust boots, taillight lens, levers, air filter, etc. New replacement parts include o-ring chain and sprockets, new Trials style tires and tubes, new rectifier, battery, etc. Both gauge faces were sanded and polished. The sidecovers are cracked, could be repaired, work ok as-is, I'm including two more that could be used for repairs. I had to piece the original exhaust together, looks great, runs very quiet. Carburetor was cleaned and rebuilt. Front rim was bent, I found a good used one and had it laced up and trued. I have the clear, signed NV title. Bike runs smooth and quiet, takes a few kicks to start from cold, but runs fine after warm up. An original Honda factory manual is included. Bike is located in Minden, NV, just south of Carson City.
