Selling a 1981 Mercedes 380 SL , The car was stored insite for a few years and is now being sold do to health issues. privious owner converted the car to a Chevy 4.3 V6 to make it more afordable, The Engine is mounted in with automatic transmission attached to the drive shaft. From what i can tell the job is almost done , it needs an exhaust to be put on and a carburettor. The radiator is in the trunk , needs to be hooked up. there might be other things that need to be hooked up/ compleded .The car is clean and besides the engine conversion original, no rust on floor or rockers, a few cosmentic spots around but nothing serious. No cracks on the dash board, no worn leather, very nice interiour including the wood ! will have pix of the inside shortly. The top was put on and never used . Selling the car as a non runner for somebody to finish the Engine hook up, as is. It was with the last owner since 1996 !
