Up for sale is my daily driver. It is a 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ42 diesel that I personally imported from Canada and was driven all the way to Kentucky from Vancouver. It runs great. It has the legendary 3B diesel engine with 4 speed manual transmission. The rig had a previous restoration approximately 7 years ago from the prior owner in Canada. Any and all of that work was done by him. Brakes redone. New air tank. It had the rust issues patched and the outer aluminum put on the tub. The entire interior was rhino lined. The paint isn't bad for a 7 year old paint job. The seats do have some tears in them but is an easy fix. I had seat covers over them but I am going to keep them. Dash pad is in good shape with one little nick. The 33x12.50 tires do not go with the sale. The original white wheels with 235 tires will be put back on the truck. They are in better shape than the ones in the picture. I drive this cruiser daily and back and forth to Alabama (400 miles) every other weekend. NO ISSUES. It will occasionally drop a spot of oil on the ground but not enough to add between oil changes. All lights, turn signals, brakes, heater, windshield wipers and throttle work. There are 2 things on this truck that don't work and that is the radio and cigarette lighter. I have never researched the issue, just kind of lived with it. There is a small rust spot on the passenger door and passenger fender. These are the two biggest spots on the whole vehicle. It does not have power steering or AC so please don't ask. I have a clear title in my name for the truck. I have a set of jumpseats that are in great shape the buyer can have as well. I took them out so my St. Bernard could ride with me. It has the original floor mat front and rear which is nice. There is a power inverter in the truck but I have never used it and can not attest to its value. Four wheel drive shifts in and out as it should. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have so just call my cell.
