1974 Suzuki RL250 Exacta I bought three parts bikes that were disassembled and in boxes with nothing labeled. I planned to get 2 working bikes so my son and I could ride together. He was seriously wounded in Afghanistan and riding is no longer possible for him. As I started going through the bike it became very clear to me that this bike deserved to be restored. Bike was completely taken down. Frame was completely stripped; weld splatter removed, hand sanded and then professionally powder coated. A lot of NEW parts have been used to bring this back such as: seat cover, fenders, fork seals & wipers, triple tree tapered bearings, cables & cable adjusters, air filter, grips, tires (Dunlop D803’s), tubes and wheel rim strips, sprockets and chain, etc. Too much to list. Some of the work done: powder coated frame, swing arm, motor mounts, foot pegs, kickstand, etc., polished front forks, new oil seals and wipers, polished engine cases, polished control mounts, rebuilt carburetor, etc. The tank looked so good after polishing (aluminum) that I just could not paint it. It does have a couple if minior indents. I do have the decals for it. A lot of spares also come with the bike including two original owners’ manuals, and original Suzuki Shop Manual and a Parts & Owners Manual. Gasket sets, NOS cables, replacement seat cover, fork wipers, NOS Suzuki gaskets, cushions, hardware, etc. Also included is a period correct NOS vintage Shoei helmet (VT1 Sports, Size L) that has never been worn. The bike runs good and shifts through the gears as it should. Bike weighs 199 lbs which makes it easy to handle off road. I would place this bike between the excellent/very good condition per NADA’s description. Great for a showroom or dealer display. Almost too nice to ride. Not perfect but awful close. Photos tell the story. Ebay does not provide any category showing no title so it is shown as clear but that is incorrect. No title but I will provide bill of sale.
