Absolutely amazing bike and a fine example from the end of an era. Fairly rare in as much as only ~ 70 of the Paris-Dakar Black and Chrome "Classics" were officially shipped to the states. This bike needs to be ridden - hopefully for some adventure rider - around the world... hmm, what are you waiting for? One owner - bike always garaged. Runs clean: No smoke, no exhaust popping. Recently adjusted carbs, both plugs burning clean. Original tool roll plus a set of feeler gauges and full set of spare crush rings. OEM BMW charger. Very few mods: Corbin Duel seat Progressive front springs WP rear shock - very well suited to pillion plus camping gear. Lowest settings are still a bit stiff for one up with no gear. New battery and fuel lines Meztler tires at ~ 80% Clean roo bars and valve covers. The pushrod seals are leaking... not "weaping" like some would -ahem- claim. They need to be replaced. If you know the GS you know what I am saying. OEM Hard bags are from a previous bike and show some wear... mainly a crack on the right larger bag. The bags have been re-keyed to use the original ignition key. Shipping to be arranged by the buyer. The bike is ready for fly and drive.
