1941 Chevrolet 1\2 ton pickup truck, very complete, very original, runs and drivesThis truck has spent its whole life on a Wyoming ranch. I bought this truck a year ago to build as my daily driver. I have found another project that I want more so here your opportunity to own a great truck with lots of potential.There are 3 spots of rust as shown in pictures., both side of front lower cowl only visable from inside front fender well,does not protrude into cab.The drivers door has some rust bubbles on lower edge.Door bottom is solid. thats its for rust, rest of truck is very solid.Green body color is original and mother nature has added a touch ,Perfect Patina!All four fenders have dents and dings and have been repainted with brushed black satin. Hood,pretty close to perfect, opens, closes and latches as it shouldGrille, ,Upper section is nice, lower section has seen better days on the ranchCab, very solid,few small dents,doors open and close nice, windows roll up and down with a little help,dash is complete, gauge cluster need attention, original headliner is still intact, seat is perfect, heater works,front windshield opens and closes as it should with crank. Both door glass is cracked and I have a used replacement set that will go with truck, drivers side windshield has a small crack in lower corner ,right side is good, rear glass is good.Cab has a drilled hole is back under window, truck had a camper shell on it and wire went through hole for lights.Running boards are rust free, left side is very straight, right side has some damage where it meets front fender( see pic)Bed is very straight, wood is worn and old license plates cover board that is damaged.Tailgate has a few small dents, but pretty nice for a 70 year old farm truckChassis\ suspension All original, frame is in great shape, no cracks that I could find. Steering is worn,Ive driven truck in the neighborhood and it will need attention before driven any farther. Brakes work fine.Electrical All original. lights work, heater works, Generator is charging,6 volt battery.Engine/Trans 216 ,6 cylinder. engine has been rebuilt at some point, rebuild tag is on block(see pic) engine runs well, no smoke. engine fires right up on first try4 speed transmissionI think Ive covered everything, feel free to contact Jeff at 303-808-5463 mountain time with questions. truck comes with clean Colorado title in my name and is located in Denver Colorado,80128 In summary, a great truck that needs very little work to be a safe roadworthy vehicle A very sold , unmolested original truck that can only gain in value . A $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit via paypal is due within 24 hours of auction ending. Full payment is due within 7 days of auction ending in the form of cash or certified check,NO exceptions. Buyer is responsible for all cost and arrangements of transporting vehicle.I will assist in loading if needed. truck needs to be removed within 10 days of auction ending unless other arrangements have been made.
