1977 Camaro Z-28 with factory 4 speed and AC This is a hard to find Camaro Z-28 factory 4 speed AC car. If you don’t know about the 1977 Z-28, this model was released during the middle of the production year. The 1977 model marked the return of the Z-28 since 1974. A 1977 Z-28 is hard to find since it was only built for half a year, a four speed with AC car built in Van Nuys, California is ever harder to find! This car was originally invoiced to Hudiburg Chevrolet in Ft Worth, TX. I have a copy of the original invoice. I don’t think this car ever left Texas. Body · The exterior is finished in the original Antique White and shines deeply. · Body is VERY straight and there is no evidence of rust repair or panel replacement. · The factory style decals are present and in great shape. · All the weather stripping is in great shape. · All glass is in good shape with some scratches and windows roll up and down smoothly · Floor and trunk pans in great shape · The trunk has the correct grey and white splatter paint Interior · Beautiful white on black factory interior · The front bucket and rear seats have the correct white seat covers in great shape. · Black carpet is in great shape with no wear or fade. · Headliner in excellent shape · Black dash pad is in great shape. · White door panels are in great shape. · The factory three point seat belts have been replaced with GM lap belts. The car comes with everything to reinstall the factory belts. · All the factory gauges work except the clock. Engine · Original engine has been rebuilt, starts right up and pulls strong · The engine compartment looks likes factory fresh with the addition of headers and chrome valve covers. The engine has the correct intake with the correct Quadrajet. · All the AC components are present, the compressor spins freely but the AC doesn’t blow cold. The system has already been converted to R134-A. · The car has a replacement Borg-Warner 4 speed transmission with the correct shifter in the factory console. The original VIN coded transmission has a repairable crack in the housing and comes with the car. · The rear end doesn’t make noises and had a limited slip unit installed. · The entire exhaust system is newer and in great shape. Has factory style replacement mufflers so it isn’t overly loud. Chassis · Factory 15” steel wheels in the correct body color have newer raised white letter BFG Radial T/As with the factory trim rings and center caps. · Factory front disk and rear drum brakes are in great shape and stop the car well Overall · This is a hard to find mid year 1977 Z-28 with factory AC and a four speed. · The car sounds great, runs great, and turns heads! · How many times have you seen an original 1977 Z-28? So many of these cars were butchered back in the day. This one has survived the test of time! · This is an EXCELLENT driving car that is better than driver quality. · Cruise as is or take it to the next level.
