THIS IS A SECOND LISTING. DURING THE FIRST LISTING, THE WINNING HIGH BIDDER WAS NOT REGISTERED WITH EBAY AND THE PURCHASE WAS NOT COMPLETED. I purchased this jeep to fully restore. The previous owner changed engine and transmission to automatic. also changed the steering column to a tilt wheel. The air conditioner compressor was set-up as an on board air compressor utilizing the rool cage as a storage tank with air line adoptors. previous owner also installed a 8000lb warn winch, tow bar, storage boxes and half doors with bikini top only. He also put on 33 inch tires. Tires new to almost new. He also had the gearing ratio changed for off road use. Does not look like it has been ever use off road. The vehicle was completely stripped for repainting which includes engine compartment and interior. condition of body excellant. no rust or dents. Since I purchased the vehicle, I took it to a mechanic to have the vehicle checked. He changed all fluids, serviced the transmission, transfer case and the front and rear end. The carburator was changed to an EFI system which has a computer programmer. He also pulled all the wheels to find the brakes reportedly being almost brand new. New dual exhaust system was added to quit it down. The engine was flushed and a new radiator and thermastat was installed. The engine was checked to find the mechanic reporting it to have excellant power and in great shape. (in his words, the jeep could climb a tree). $3K spent just in EFI kit and installation. This system is new and has less than 1 hour on it. With this system the power is unblievable. Note: the tires in the photo are not the tires on the jeep. The mileage shows 12542 and the odometer works however, I do not know if the mileage is correct or if it is 112542. The odometer only has a 5 digit listing. The previous owner did not know either. The vehicle does not need smog in Colorado and don't know if this year requires it in other states. Tires: The previous owner had the jeep stored in a covered, three sided shed. Two of the tires got weather chapped and were replaced with new two new ones that were balanced and installed where it is currently stored. The two new tires have not been driven on. According to the previous owner, the three remaining tires have less than 100 miles on them. The wheels are slanted chrome spoke with black rivits on the interior. The tires are Dunlop Radial Mud Rover, 33X12.50R15LT's.
