We've owned many of these cars, and they typically vary in quality and condition. This particular one is one of the nicest classic 900s we've seen. Not flawless, but very very nice. Few dings and rock chips, but the paint is beautiful and glossy, recently professionally detailed. Body work is very straight with no rust on the car. Again, car is RUST FREE! The tan convertible top doesn't seem to leak, but has a few wear marks and slits here and there. Interior is in very good shape. Seats are nice and don't have excessive wear. The wood trim around the instrument bezel is peeling back some, but could be glued back. Leather boot around the shifter could use some black shoe polish to return it to its former glory. Carpets are in good condition, however have some small stains in places. Overall a very clean good condition interior, and all gauges and instruments seem to be working properly. Power convertible top goes up and down smoothly, as do all the power windows. Mechanically the car is very strong. Brakes are tight with no fading pulsing or pulling side to side. It may need a CV axle, as occasionally it makes some noise, and we can arrange for that to be done for the new buyer. No hesitations, just smooth strong power throughout the RPM range. An important note, is that this transmission is in smooth shifting, proper operating condition. Almost every 900 turbo we've had has a "snick" or worse yet, a "crunch" especially going from 1st to 2nd gear. This particular car has nothing but smooth shifts. Clutch feels strong, and engages about halfway along the pedal throw. New battery. Tires are new, and match all around with the custom gray 17" alloy wheels which are also newer. Drives down the road at 20MPH or 80MPH without any strange vibrations or noises, just an outstanding and FUN car to drive! Again, not perfect, but a very nice low mileage and rare collectible Saab 900 Turbo Convertible!
