***Attention Honda Collectors***Great opportunity to own an unrestored first year motorcycleThis bike will be 50 years old in four years! This is a wonderful example of a historic first year motorcycle. I purchased it from an owner who had owned it since the 1970's. I was going to keep it, but have decided to sell it because I have another project that I need to finish. The motorcycle does not appear to have ever been in an accident and there are no major dents to the tank, side covers, fenders or other parts. The previous owner tried to reupholster the seat by leaving the old back part that says "Honda" on it and adding new material to the front part. It actually does not look too bad because it has about the same patina as the rest of the bike. The shop that I had do the work said it runs great and that all the lights and electrical appear to be in working order. Since I had decided to sell it, I have not put gas into the tank after lining it. This should aid in also keeping the newly rebuilt carbs in good working order. It has a new battery and it still has what appears to be the original tool kit. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless you plan to pick it up, in which case there will be no shipping costs involved. The winning bidder is required to make a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction. The winning bidder MUST contact me 24 hours to arrange the remainder of the payment. I will not release the motorcycle until the final amount is paid in full. I am not a dealer, just a motorcycle enthusiast.
