Up for auction with a low reserve is a 1970 Opel GT, the interior is clean with low miles on a professionaly rebuilt 1900 4 cylinder engine with the webber upgrade, clear title in hand. Has some rust holes around the wheel wells and where the battery is mounted but should be a minor repair all typical places for rust on this car, the floors and the rest of the car is solid. I was told the tires were put on when the engine was done and has been sitting in the garage since 08 the nubs are still on the tires but just starting to get dry cracks. There are some cracks in the dash but the spare is a little dusty with no cracks. I noticed the wipers, directional lights and heater motor wont work I think because at the fuse panel the tabs that hold the fuses in place rusted off so there are some fuses missing. Needs an outer shifter boot. Runs and drives great I have been driving it around the neighborhood and its a fun little car, comes with a lot of spare parts, auto transmission and torque converter, radiator, dash, instrument panel, seats that need work, cylinder head, flexplate, headlight buckets, 2 carburators, master cylinder, driveshaft, water pump and housing, fuel pump, springs, 2 airfilter housing, oil pan, valve cover, 2 sets of center caps, box and a bucket full of small parts the list goes on .... see pictures One of the best parts about this car it has not been hacked up meaning everything on the car is OEM and not aftermarket/universal parts rigged to fit which usually don't. If you are looking for a project car this one has a lot of potential and doesn't need much compared to some of the Opel GTs I have seen sell on Ebay.
