1967 AMC Marlin. This car is running and registered. It comes with a CT Title that is guaranteed by a title bond. This was the only way a title would be issued by CT DMV. The actual mileage is unknown. I have this car listed locally so I reserve the right to cancel this listing at any time. This Marlin is in above average condition with very little rust. It had a restoration at least 12 years ago and then put in storage. It was originally white and was a 343 car. The brown color was done during the earlier restoration. Both myself and the previous owner don't know why the motor was changed. It comes with an extra drivers door painted brown in great shape in fact both me and the previous owner don't understand why it was changed. I bought this car from an AMC collector a few years ago. The only thing I've done to the car was to put in a solid state point replacement unit along with doing the brakes over. As I said it runs and drives but I haven't put many miles on it since I owned it. The only reason I'm selling it is I have 4 other cars and have come to the decision I won't be able to get to this car for many years to come so It's best to let someone carry on my dream. The 67 is the best and rarest of the Marlin's. I've read that there are only about 500 of these cars left. The condition is way above average and easy to complete a restoration. Floors and trunk are good. Just the small bubbling shown in the pictures. In the middle of last year Hemming Motor News had an article on Marlin's including the value of these cars. My asking price is right in line with the Hemming pricing stated in that article. I have more 42 photos to email and within reason I will take special other photos if requested that I can email.
